Meet Sarah Fitzgerald, Lic.Ac., MBAcC
Hi, I’m Sarah Fitzgerald, a fully qualified and licensed acupuncturist, registered with the British Acupuncture Council and founder of Koru Acupuncture.
I trained at the City College of Acupuncture, London, graduating with a First‑class Licentiate degree, and went on to complete postgraduate training with the Acupuncture Fertility Network, deepening my expertise in fertility and reproductive health.
Koru Acupuncture is also an affiliate clinic of The Fertility Suite, reflecting my commitment to evidence‑based fertility support and continuous professional development. This affiliation ensures my patients benefit from the latest research, advanced training and a trusted network of fertility specialists.
Why I Do This Work
Acupuncture is my second career. Before retraining, I worked in banking in both the City of London and Auckland, New Zealand. It was during this time that I first experienced the profound benefits of acupuncture as a patient in managing sports injuries and the pressures of a demanding job.
That experience sparked a long‑term interest in health and wellbeing, eventually leading me to three years of intensive study under some of the UK’s leading acupuncturists and the creation of Koru Acupuncture.
My personal and professional journey means I understand the emotional and physical challenges many of my patients face;
especially around fertility, stress and chronic pain. I’m here to support you with care, clarity and compassion.
